Inspire Yourself to Dress You, Be You

“I think there is beauty in everything. What ‘normal’ people perceive as ugly, I can usually see something of beauty in it.” – Alexander McQueen

Be gentle with yourself, there’s always for improvement. Even when you think it’s impossible to meet your own dream body, just think you can and you will. You don’t have to starve yourself to make it though, be gentle and take baby steps towards it. Compare yourself to no one, they are working on it on their own pace and so are you. McQueen mentioned in the quote above that there is always something beautiful even in the things that seem ugly. It’s a matter of perception, not everyone will appreciate you but guess what? You’re to please yourself, learning to make yourself happy first is the biggest achievement you can make. You are beautiful for being you.

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” -Audrey Hepburn

In a world where society silently dictates you to wear this and that or be this or that, you have to be an original copy of yourself despite the pressure of being the same with everyone else. As what Hepburn said in the quote above, learn to see the positive side of things. Too lazy to dress up? Go pull a lazy outfit and rock it like you own it. Wanna eat a doughnut? Go and order a dozen and put on your fave movie or series. Let no one dictate what you should or shouldn’t wear, let no one tell you to eat this or that. Since you’re in control of your own life, you should know what’s good or bad for you, may it be in dressing up or what you eat. Focus on your self-improvement but never ever step on anyone who also have the same goals as you are. Be you in achieving the best you ought to be. Positive thinking = Happy life.

At the end of the day, you are you. You have yourself to depend on, you should inspire yourself everyday to stay true to yourself, that you’ve done the best you can and there is no pressure to be someone perfect; nobody’s perfect anyway but there will never be someone like you.
